Life Before Thomas Jefferson High School

As an undergraduate student I worked through the University of Colorado at the Anschutz Campus studying virology. While raising my own children, I started a small business, Advanced Therapeutic Massage in Lakewood, Colorado. I work closely with area chiropractors and medical providers offering a variety of rehabilitative modalities. My thinking has always been scientific, though my true passion lies in the world of special education and helping those students with disabilities understand the importance of their place in the world. My oldest son is in the Army, stationed in Ft. Carson and my younger son is a sophomore at Wheat Ridge High School. I bought a vintage ’65 Playmor camper over the summer and worked hard restoring it and getting good use out of! I have two border collies, love gardening and am a bee keeper.
